Our Story

“ I started this company because I love cooking and growing food the right way. I have a culinary background and grew up baking pies and making pasta with my grandma, Yani. I am constantly horrified how many harmful ingredients are listed on ingredient labels. I have two toddlers and I refuse to feed them chemicals and feed them to others.

I worked at Urbavore Urban Farm in 2024 and fell in love with feeling the soil in my hands, learning about the rich compost “gold”, and the blood, sweat, and tears of growing incredible produce. Eating the sweetest carrot straight from the ground, hell yes! So I started selling my pies and hummus using produce and lard from the farm, and the rest is history.

Today, we have a certified kitchen on Be Free Farm in Kansas City. I create new menu items based off what our farmers grow, not the other way around. I believe making incredible food is an art and I always pour my heart and soul into what I make. I also love building relationships with the local farms and learning their process. I feel so blessed for the community support and how much our company has grown.”
